The types of floor insulation boards are a lightweight insulated tile backing board developed specifically for use with tile floor insulation. It is extremely light and easy to cut (using fine tooth saw, jigsaw or utility knife, for example) and to work with. It is dimensionally stable, it doesn't rot or warp, and it provides excellent resistance to moisture. It also offers the additional benefit of a high level of thermal insulation, making it ideal for electric underfloor heating insulation. These underfloor boards are available in 1200mm x 600mm sheets and come in thicknesses of 6mm, 10mm and 20mm.
XPS Insulation Boards are specifically designed for use with our electric foil underfloor heating systems on timber & concrete floors. XPS Insulation or Extruded polystyrene insulation which it is also known as is manufactured through an extrusion process. This process involves melting together the plastic resin with the other ingredients. The liquid formed is then continuously extruded through a die and expands during the cooling process. This then produces a closed cell rigid insulation. These underfloor heating boards are available in 1200mm x 600mm sheets and come in thicknesses of 6mm, 10mm and 20mm.
Insulation & overlay floor panels are used for wet underfloor heating installations. Insulation boards in this range offer many advantages such as dual purpose, meaning they can be used under tiled floors or under floating floors such as laminate. They are ideal for both new builds and renovations.
Our decoupling matting is a multi-functional matting system which has a 3-layer construction that offers so much more than decoupling. These are quick and easy to install and are ideal for renovation projects.
This fixing system has been designed for use with warm water underfloor heating and wall heating systems. It is made from 100% recycled plastic and features a thick, 15mm self-adhesive backed panels which provide a fast-fix floor heating solution. This is suitable for use on both suspended timber floors and solid floors, or alternatively as a wall heating solution.
