The Aube range has been designed to provide total control and flexibility when using your underfloor heating system. An option of both manual and fully programmable controls are available, allowing you flexibility of the product. The Aube range is capable of switching a maximum of 15 amps, giving you the ability to switch multiple mats whilst using one thermostat control. For an area that requires a single thermostat to control a load greater the 15 amps, a suitably sized contactor should be installed, which can then be controlled by the thermostat.

The Aube TH232 thermostat gives you 3 functions in 1, allowing you to control your heating system by measuring:

Floor only
Air only
A combination of air & floor temperature.

Please note that when a contactor is used you will need to fit a snubber (surge protector) on the switch terminals (A1 & A2).

Once fitted in line with recommendations from very good technical support, all works perfectly.

Good Supplier

All good except they charged UK VAT on an export to Ireland. This meant I had to pay VAT in both places.

Easy to fit as a replacement for an older thermostat, clear instructions and a doddle to set-up

Good prices, quick (often free) delivery, good website - job done

So far, so good! The thermostat was bought to replace a thermostat which operates in a demanded floor temperature mode. The sensor became unserviceable, meaning that no heat was demanded by the thermostat. The Aube thermostat was purchased as it has an 'Ambient' mode which demands heat with regards to the air temperature of the room to be heated. I was thus able to restore heating to the bathroom without having to rip up tiles and replace the sensor cable.

A quick PS: The thermostat seems to demand heat before the programmed time, but this is the function of the 'Early Start' setting, to ensure that the room has reached the desired temperature by the programmed time. Took me a while to realise what was happening and that it wasn't broken!
