Which Instant Hot Water Heater To Use

Properties with low hot water demand or in remote areas, such as garages, outbuildings, or shower rooms, are ideal for instant water heater installation. The electric instant water heater has various power ratings to accommodate various needs. The smaller 6-8 kW units can serve a hand wash basin or shower, while the larger 8-12 kW units can serve both or provide a stronger shower. For kitchen sinks, it's recommended to install in a smaller store for increased flow rate. The 12 kW units can provide a continuous supply of 4.5 litres per minute at 48 degrees Celsius for kitchen sinks, but the actual flow rate depends on the temperature of the cold water supply. The compact instant water heaters are suitable for small spaces such as bathrooms or under sinks, providing water at 35-40 degrees Celsius for hand washing.

They come in four different models, each with varying capacities to accommodate different needs. The use of either 3i or 4i technology in these models is a key factor in their efficiency. The technology enables energy and water savings of up to 30% compared to traditional hot water systems, making them an environmentally friendly and cost-effective option.
